Journey from Hacker Sapien to Organizer Sapien

Journey from Hacker Sapien to Organizer Sapien

Introduction:

As an over-ambitious person, I have always been passionate about bringing people together to work on innovative projects. Nine months ago, I came up with the idea of Hack IT Sapiens, a hackathon aimed at reuniting hacker sapiens for the ultimate hacking revolution. Together with my co-founders, we worked tirelessly to make this vision a reality, and in April 2023, we successfully organized Hack IT Sapiens 1.0, a 36-hour long offline hackathon at Poornima College of Engineering in Jaipur. In this blog post, I'll share some of the highlights of the event and the lessons we learned from organizing it.

Vision:

The vision behind Hack IT Sapiens was to bring together hackers from all over India to work on innovative projects that could change the world. Our goal was to create an environment where creativity, innovation, and collaboration could thrive, and where participants could showcase their skills, learn from experts, and make connections that could help them in their careers

The Event:

Hack IT Sapiens 1.0 took place from April 14-16, 2023, and was attended by over 500 Hacker Sapiens from all over India. The event featured 120+ teams working on projects ranging from cybersecurity to agriculture, and everything in between. The participants had 36 hours to work on their projects, with the guidance of some of the most experienced mentors and judges in the industry.

Conclusion:

Organizing Hack IT Sapiens 1.0 was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. It was a beautiful curve of my life and something that I will always be proud. I want to thank all the people who contributed to this event and made it a success. I learned several valuable lessons during the process of organizing this hackathon that I want to share with you:
